The condo was everything we expected from the website and being there was even better than we expected. Staff members were all friendly and helpful, the condo was comfortable and clean and the beach was amazing. This was our first trip to Cozumel and we'll be back and we'll look at Cozumel at Home and Residencias Reef in particular for a place to stay again. The only thing we wish we had known in advance was to be sure to book a rental car online before we arrived -- we would have saved at least $200 and staying on the south side of the island, we really needed a car. The one thing we wish was different at the condo was the couches -- because they're sleeper sofas, they aren't the most comfortable couches for sitting -- but then again, we weren't sitting around much anyway. You get to avoid the long boat rides since the best reefs are just minutes away. The wraparound porch and table provide a perfect place for breakfast and sunset watching. Pool and ocean are right outside the door. Very quiet and private but can walk five minutes in either direction for water activity snorkeling, etc. The actual condo was nicer than we thought it would be - large modern rooms, nice kitchen and wonderful wrap around tiled patio. Step down onto the beach or a few steps to the right leads to the pool, which was never crowded. Views were wonderful. Only a few items to be aware of - probably about 15-20 minute tax ride to downtown area - so if you are looking to be close to the town and nightlife this may not be the best choice. Also not much in the way of food. If you plan ahead and go shopping and furnish the unit you will be fine. Apparently most places in this area are all inclusive. There was a Carlos and Charlies just a short walk to the left with pretty good food and drinks. Finally there isn't a swimming beach right in front of place - it is coral. However, 100 yards or so to the left is San Francisco Beach. We stayed half a week near town and half the week in this condo which worked out well for us. We enjoy the quietness of the grounds and of course the beauty of the condos. We have stayed in several different units and they all have met or exceeded our expectations.
